We rated 13 races from Randwick, Caulfield and Doomben, for 9 Top 4 Winners. The highlight was a massive Box Four Trifecta.

Trifectas, first fours etc.
A massive highlight from the 13 races rated, was the Box Four Trifecta in R2 at Randwick which paid as much as $4,411.50 on the Queensland tote!! The outlay to win this was just $24!!! This is why our Free Ratings have been so successful over the years. In Randwick R5 there was a $661.90 trifecta (top 5.)

Lucky Lil was left with 2 selections this week. Tax Evader ran third at Doomben starting at double figure odds, while the other selection missed a place at Caulfield starting at over $30.00. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day, Margins, unfortunately won at Doomben, starting at $3.30.

Lucky Lil was so close to snaring another big winner. Prince Of Penzance, $16.50, finished second at Caulfield by a short half head. Casual Choice, $5.00, was also second at Randwick. Lucky Lil's third tip, Discreet, started at $2.35 at Eagle Farm. There was no way Lucky Lil would back it at those skinny odds. The Lay of the Day, Essay Raider, started at $3.40 at Morphettville and was unplaced so we won.

In Caulfield R3 there was a $355.80 first four (top 4.) While in Eagle Farm R9 there was a $503.50 Box Four trifecta.

We rated 13 races from Randwick, Flemington and Doomben, but were left with just 8 races after Doomben was abandoned. There were 6 Top 4 Winners.

From Lucky Lil's 3 selections this week Sweet Idea placed at Rosehill starting at double figure odds. Excited Spirit, $3.90, was unplaced at Moonee Valley and Vacallo, $6.00, unplaced at Doomben. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was Discreet, at around $3.20 at Doomben, not the $4.60 it won at.

In Rosehill R8 the ratings found a $1,618.30 First Four (Top 5.)

Please note:

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
