Lucky Lil only had 2 selections this week due to a scratching. However, that did not stop Lucky Lil from winning yet again and returning over 100% profit on the day thanks to Hold Me Tight, $4.40 winning at Eagle Farm. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was Divine City which started as $3.20 favourite at Eagle Farm. It was unplaced so we were winners with yet another Lucky Lil Lay of the Day!

Trifectas, first fours etc.
The ratings didn't repeat last week's brilliant effort of finding a $1,310.80 First Four in the Top 4 however the ratings did find a few First Fours from the Top 4. They were Warwick Farm R8, $272.00 and Warwick Farm R4, $143.70. In Caulfield R2 there was a $918.60 First Four ( Top 5) and in Eagle Farm R3 a $462.10 Trifecta ( Top 5.)

We rated 14 races from Rosehill, Flemington and Doomben for 9 Top 4 Winners, including a big Box 4 Top Four and Lucky Lil had another big winning day.

Lucky Lil's 3 selections this week found another big winner, Commandare $9.20 at Doomben. At Morphettville Metal Contender started at $2.60, so Lucky Lil did not back it. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was Decircles which started as $2.50 favourite at Flemington and lost, so we were winners!

We had a Heavy track at Rosehill while at Doomben the track was improving throughout the day, with 2 upgrades. On a day to forget, with some really odd results, we rated 17 races from Rosehill, Caulfield and Doomben for 7 Top 4 Winners.

After a sensational day last Saturday, 2 of Lucky Lil's 3 selections this week ran second by a half neck. They were Tuscan Fire, $7.00 at Caulfield and Barbero, $6.00 at Rosehill. Lucky Lil's Lay of the Day was Stradon which started as $2.35 favourite and lost, so we were winners.

Please note:
We also provide guidelines to new members on using our betting information for first fours and trifecta betting.

In our newsletters here we have at times indicated how some first fours and trifectas could have been obtained. However on racedays some judgement and skill are needed for this.

For example the same betting method will not work each race, such as boxing selections, or taking the top horse as a standout to win. Some races will also need to be avoided because the odds are not there.

Even with good information playing trifectas and first fours is not a licence to print money. Intelligent use of the information and a lot of discipline is required.

While there can be substantial collects for relatively small outlays there can also be long runs of outs with various betting methods used.
