Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Rosehill
Gallant Tess:
David Payne's 3YO filly finished her race off nicely for second in the 3YO Fillies Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes run over 1500 metres. In April she ran an excellent third in 2YO Group 1 company over 1600 metres starting at $21.00. Gallant Tess looks set for another excellent campaign and could win a big race at value odds.
Caulfield
Let Go Thommo:
This 6YO West Australian gelding just failed to defeat the short priced favourite, Tesbury Jack. Let Go Thommo hasn't been brought to Victoria by his trainer, Steven Ryan, just to gallop around in a new paddock. He has an outstanding strike rate - nine wins from 16 starts.
Anamato:
Second up David Hayes promising 3YO filly ran a huge race, finishing second by a neck to the boom filly Miss Finland. On that run she could easily turn the tables.
Megadeal:
Don't jump off this David Hayes trained 4YO mare because she finished second as a short priced favourite to Lee Freedman's Queen Of The Hill. It was still a good run by Megadeal in the big field of 15. What it should mean is you get better odds about Megadeal at her next start.
