Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Moonee Valley
Cox Plate Day
Matras:
The Lee Freedman trained 4YO mare has now won six in a row. Just how good is she?
I Got Chills:
Could David Hayes be training a filly to rival the great colt, Vain? It's early days yet, but this filly won her first start at Flemington on a Good rated track by 4.5 lengths. She followed that up next start by winning on the Slow rated Moonee Valley track by seven lengths.
Rosehill
Bentley Biscuit:
This 4YO gelding didn't have much luck in running but was still good enough to win his third in a row this time in. Bentley Biscuit, a 4YO Gai Waterhouse trained gelding, is now undefeated after six starts and looking the goods as he runs fast time.
Doomben
Persuades:
Ted Ainsworth, who trains at Beaudesert, must be thrilled to have a smart one. This 4YO mare returned from a spell with an impressive win in Class 6 company. Persuades has now had five wins and five placings from 13 starts.
