Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Hit The Road:
The 4YO gelding had absolutely no luck when resuming over 1400 metres and finished a close fourth to Leading Bid. Hit The Road has a touch of class. He finished second in May to Saxon in the Group 2 Queensland Guineas.

Caulfield
Roubechon:
An impressive winner in the 3YO Listed Gothic Stakes following an easy Sunday win at Sandown, Roubechon looks a class conveyance.
Eye Popper:
This classy 6YO Japanese horse now has six wins and seven seconds from just 16 starts. He finished ahead of our champion mare Makybe Diva in Japan earlier this year over 3200 metres and was then spelled. First up in the Caulfield Cup, despite a wide ride, Eye Popper finished second by a short neck to the John Hawkes' trained Railings. On that run Eye Popper looks the Melbourne Cup winner.
Eagle Farm
Nova Star:
Kelly Schweida has a pretty smart filly here. Last time in she won a 1200 metres Listed 2YO Fillies Handicap by over three lengths. On Saturday she was confidently backed, firming from $3.00 to $2.50, and with top weight of 57kg. defeated the 3YO colts and geldings in smart time over 1000 metres.
