Suede:
 This 4YO John Hawkes' trained mare is a model of consistency. Three wins and three placings from only six starts.

Flemington 12/6/2004

King Of Them All:
This 4YO New Zealand gelding got collared on the line. He has a top strike rate - six wins and five placings from 13 starts. Will be fitter for the run.

Ista Kareem:
Had no luck. Should have won.

Tessuto:
Put in a huge finish. Looks very smart.

Strong second lugging 58.5kg.
