Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.
Rosehill
Smart Maxie:
The lightly raced Guy Walter trained 5YO gelding was an impressive first up winner after a break of nearly a year. If he stays sound this gelding should win plenty of more races. Smart Maxie has the excellent strike rate of four wins and two placings from just seven starts.
Western Beau:
Plunged from $12.00 to $5.00, the backers of this Marc Conners' trained 4YO gelding did their money. They'll be back to recover that on this underrated, smart conveyance. Western Beau won the Canberra Guineas in February this year. At huge odds he also ran a close fourth in the 3YO Group 2 Tulloch Stakes at Rosehill in March and then just missed out in a three way photo in the Group 3 Doomben Classic in May.
Caulfield
Primus:
This John O'Shea trained 3YO colt, who started at big double figure odds, ran a huge third in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas after having no luck in running. Watch out. He's got "Group Winner" written all over him.
Super Kid:
Punters must surely know by now that this 6YO horse, a Hong Kong Group 1 winner, is a serious racehorse. After a spell he has had two starts here for a second to Barely A Moment in the Group 1 Caulfield Racing Club Cup followed by another second to Barely A Moment in the Group 1 Toorak Handicap.
