Here are the latest runners to be added
to our Horse Watch list.
Caulfield
Domesday:
A nice win at its first start by this 2YO John Hawkes trained colt. Big things are expected of Domesday, who cost $420,000 at the Australian Easter Yearling Sales.
Renewable:
This 3YO Zabeel gelding cost $220,000 at the Australian Easter Yearling Sales and is a full brother to Group 1 winner Hill Of Grace. Having his first race start, against eight other runners with race experience, Renewable was firmly supported from $4.60 to $3.80 in this 3YO Open. His backers had nothing to worry about. Renewable was cla sses above the opposition and cruised in. This Lloyd Williams owned and Graeme Rogerson trained gelding could be a star.
Gold Coast
Natale:
If there was trouble, Natale found it. He lost his position and was shuffled back through the field, then was held up for a run. Despite that he was still too good. It was an outstanding win by this lightly raced 4YO gelding. That was his fifth win from just six starts.
Tellem:
An excellent second up run over an unsuitable 1000 metres. This 5YO gelding has a touch of class. He has 10 wins and 4 seconds from 26 starts.
