Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Rosehill
Magic Model:
Sent out at $5.00 in her first race start, we wouldn't dismiss this 2YO filly. She finished third in the small field, but didn't have much luck in running.
Equable:
Gerald Ryan's 4YO gelding got well out of his ground and ran home strongly to finish a close third in a three way photo. It is worth noting that jockey Danny Nikolic was queried by the stewards over his ride on Equable.
Caulfield
Fifth Avenue Lady:
Just keep in mind this lightly raced 4YO mare convincingly won a $60,000 3YO Fillies Open at Sandown Hillside in April. On Saturday at Caulfield she was badly checked at the 1200, held up on the home turn and in the early part of the straight and then was checked again at the 200 when trying to get a run. Forget she ever went round at Caulfield.
Doomben
Tour Guide:
This 5YO gelding ran a huge race in the $200,000 Group 3 George Moore Stakes, starting from the outside barrier in the big field of 18, and finished a close third to the $16.00 winner, Friendly Embrace. Tour Guide has the excellent strike rate of eight wins from 16 starts, so with a decent barrier next start it would not surprise to see Tour Guide winning yet again.
