Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.
Randwick
Alverta:
This Paul Messara trained 4YO mare was not disgraced in the Group 2 Villiers Handicap, finishing third behind the upset winner Honor In War and the champion, Takeover Target. It's also worth noting that on 22nd. December Alverta, starting at $67.00, was only beaten a nose by Takeover Target.
Come On Cugat:
Chris Waller's 4YO gelding was the best of good things beaten. It missed the start by three lengths as the barriers opened when it was laying against the side of its barrier stall. Come On Cugat finished second, only beaten a length by the $2.15 favourite Buzzy Henry.
Sandown Lakeside
El Poderoso:
Danny O'Brien's 3YO gelding was also a good thing beaten. It finished second by a long neck to Spirited Halo, but was badly help up for a run from the beginning of the straight until the 50 metres.
Mangonui:
Our Melbourne video analyst liked run of this 5YO gelding, who second up finished a nice second over 1400 metres to Cognac Bay. Mangonui, which has four wins from 11 starts will be primed to win next start.
