Here are the latest runners to be added
to our Horse Watch list.
Rosehill
Miss Mooney Mooney:
This Tony Wildman trained 3YO filly has been a model of consistency since resuming. She is well above average, having finished second in 2YO Group 3 company at Caulfield in October last year.
At Rosehill she was heavily supported from $7.00
to $5.00 and after leading throughout over 1300 metres was just headed. She has now had three runs this campaign and is ready to win next start.
Sandown Hillside
Forest Spy:
Despite having a tough run this Danny O'Brien trained 3YO gelding won by over two lengths. He now has four wins and two placings from just seven starts. If he keeps improving he could measure up in much better company.
Universal Heights:
Following a freshen up of seven weeks this very promising Colin Alderson trained 4YO gelding has won three races straight - over 1600, 2000 and 2400 metres. With six wins from 14 starts he could become a very handy stayer.
Eagle Farm
Upilio:
Starting at $31.00, this 2YO colt made up plenty of ground to finish second behind the boom filly Virage De Fortune in the Group 1 Sires' Produce Stakes run over 1400 metres. He is threatening to win a big race at huge odds. Back in January in the Magic Millions he was only beaten by a couple of lengths when starting at $81.00.
Cheltenham
Aerated:
Also starting at $31.00, this 3YO filly ran a great race against the boys. She finished third in a photo behind the two favoured runners, Mr. Mercurial and Loutonne. However, Aerated has been a model of consistency, with two wins in Adelaide city company and five placings from nine starts.
