Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.
Randwick
Boom Time Savings:
This 2YO Graeme Rogerson trained filly ran another great second, this time to the boom first starter, the Tim Martin trained Regreagan. Boom Time Savings is fit and ready to win.
Loftily:
The mare returned from a spell of five months with a solid placing carrying the steadier of 60kg. She has the great strike rate of eight wins and four seconds from just 19 starts.
Flemington
Minson:
What a tough, fighting win at Flemington after leading all the way and getting no peace. This 3YO gelding has now won all his five starts and keeps on being sent around at generous odds, probably due to the fact that he is trained by little known trainer Michael Hibbs at Geelong and not a David Hayes or a Lee Freedman.
God's Own:
The 2005 Caulfield Guineas winner returned from a spell with a great, fast finishing second in the Group 1 Lightning Stakes run over 1000 metres.
Doomben
Tender Truce:
This 2YO Alan Bailey trained filly has now comfortably won all her three starts. She could be something a bit special.
Babinda Half:
He absolutely bolted in the last of the day, a Class 6 Handicap, by over five lengths, leading throughout. The time of 1:08.63 was only 0.75 seconds slower than the track record set by Takeover target, who won the $500,000 Group 1 Lightning Stakes at Flemington on Saturday. Babinda Half has the top strike rate of seven wins and seven placings from just 16 starts. This 4YO gelding could well be a future Group winner.
