Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.

Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

At Warwick Farm Secret Admirer was beaten a nose in the Group 3 Tramway Handicap by the smart Sincero. Secret Admirer now has 2 wins, 2 seconds and 2 thirds from 6 race starts and looks to have its hoof on the till.

Glass Harmonium:
In May and June this year this former English galloper put in four strong runs in its initial campaign in Australia, including winning the Eagle Farm Cup. This Michael Moroney trained 6YO entire returned from a spell with a great first up second by a half length to the upset $41.00 winner, Littorio, in the Group 2 Weight for Age Makybe Diva Stakes. Glass Harmonium looks set for a big spring racing campaign in Melbourne.

Denwood:
This 3YO gelding has yet to win a race, and has 4 thirds and 2 seconds from 9 race starts. It put in another strong run at Eagle Farm when it finished third. With placings at its last four starts it has its hoof on the till and looks set to win. Just don't take very short odds!
