Rosehill
Tactfully:
John Hawkes looks to have another smart filly here. At Rosehill she comfortably won her third race in a row.
Artistique:
Just beaten a head by Celebria, this John O'Shea trained filly looks set to break through for a city win soon.
Wild Queen:
This Gai Waterhouse trained 4YO mare was plunged from $8.50 to $5.50 when resuming at Rosehill in Open Listed company. She finished second to Carael Boy. This mare has an excellent strike rate - three wins and four placings from 10 starts.
Sunshine Coast
Wildly:
Second up this promising John McArdle trained 3YO gelding was sent out the $3.30 favourite against the older horses in the $160,000 Listed Glasshouse Handicap. Wildly finished second, beaten just a neck by Top Marc. Expect Wildly to be in the thick of things in quality races later this year during the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
Cheltenham
Generally:
After having no luck in her first race start on June 13 at Morphettville, this Gary Kennewell trained 3YO filly easily won a Balaklava maiden by four lengths. She followed that up by winning in similar style at Cheltenham in smart time, running 0.41 seconds faster than 7YO gelding Noble Win who won an Open Handicap two races later.
