Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Here are the latest runners to be added to our Horse Watch list.
Rosehill
Goldtown:
The Tim Martin trained 2YO colt showed excellent improvement at his second run and finished third. He was backed from $3.10 to $2.60. Keep a watch. If a Tim Martin trained horse fails to win when the money comes connections will often quickly find another race for it to win.
Pendragon:
This Bart Cummings trained 2YO colt finished well for an excellent second first up. At his only other start he finished second in a $100,000 2YO Listed race at Kembla Grange.
Snippetson:
We were impressed by the first up run of this Guy Walter trained 3YO colt in the Group 3 Weight for Age Missile Stakes. Snippetson finished second to Dance Hero, but ahead of Spark Of Life.
Moonee Valley
Rubitbabe:
Barbara Joseph brought this 3YO gelding to Melbourne from Canberra. Rubitbabe, who had five wins from 11 starts, showed he is definitely up to city class. He finished a very close fifth.
Doomben
Shysu:
This 4YO mare impressed with a strong win. She now has the outstanding record of five wins and five seconds from just 12 starts.
Cheltenham
Royal Ida:
Sent out at the prohibitive odds of $1.65 in the field of 12, this smart 4YO gelding didn't disappoint his backers. He had a soft win. Royal Ida now has five wins and two seconds from just eight starts and looks well above average.
