Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Primus:
John O'Shea's classy 4YO horse returned from a spell with a strong win in a Listed Handicap over 1200 metres. After a frustrating run of close finishes without winning last campaign, he looks set for a winning campaign this time in.
Gold Edition:
This 3YO filly is all class. She had a soft win in the 3YO Fillies Group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes on Saturday. Gold Edition has an outstanding strike rate - seven wins and three seconds from 14 starts.
Moonee Valley
Due Sasso:
Brian Mayfield-Smith's 3YO colt just missed out second up in the 3YO Colts & Geldings Listed McKenzie Stakes over 1000 metres. He will be fitter next start.
Morphettville
Royal Ida:
This outstanding Adelaide horse was a strong winner in the Group 3 Weight for Age Spring Stakes over 1200 metres. That was his second win from two starts after a break of more than two months. Trainer Michael O'Leary is expected to bring the 6YO gelding to Melbourne for some of the big Carnival races. Don't let him get under your guard. Royal Ida now has ten wins and three seconds from 18 starts.
