Make Money Betting Horses
Many astute punters use a simple horse racing betting system to back plenty of winners at excellent odds, as well as successfully betting trifectas, first fours, doubles etc. They simply note the key runs of a few select horses each week and black book them. Then betting smart, they follow them.
Each week we will give some runs worth noting by horses from Saturday's racing. Keep a record of the horses, bet smart and you too could back some big winners.

Wasp:
John Hawkes' previously unbeaten 3YO gelding ran a great third behind Apache Cat and Racing To Win. Wasp was close enough to indicate he could be the value to beat either of these hype horses when they next meet during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.
Patezza:
This 7YO gelding has had four runs from a spell. He is at peak fitness and ready to win. Do not forget he won the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap starting at big double figure odds during the Sydney Autumn Carnival last year.
Moonee Valley
Serene Prince:
Mornington trainer Gary McGreal's 5YO gelding is ready to win after two good runs this time in. He is a 1200 metres' specialist, having run nine times at the distance for four wins, four seconds and a third.
Doomben
Masai Pride:
Starting from barrier 12 in the field of 13, this 3YO gelding had a torrid trip racing four and five wide. Despite that he kept on coming and finished a strong second to Mighty Victory. Masai Pride was the best of good things beaten.
Morphettville
Gallant Guru:
Leon Macdonald has this classy 3YO middle distance colt spot on. He has put in two great seconds over 1200 metres and 1600 metres in his first two runs back from a spell of five months. In October last year he won the Listed 2,200 metres Geelong Classic.
