2. In addition, it had an outstanding career strike rate of 14 wins and 7 seconds from just 29 races.
3. With such a high class strike rate, $26.00 was brilliant value.

Morphettville winner
Wise And Happy $17.00
1. This 5YO gelding was first up from a spell and had a very good first up strike rate of 2 wins and 1 second from 3 races.
2. Its overall winning strike rate was very good - 5 wins from 13 races, which is nearly 40%.
3. This was just a Rating 78 handicap.
4. When you can get big odds about horses with the right form you are getting value. Wise And Happy was certainly value.

4. Its trainer was Peter G. Moody and jockey for this race was Vlad Duric.
5. In a field of just 12 it was tremendous value.

Kiss A Rose $11.00
1. This 3YO filly was first up from a spell.
2. It had only raced once - for an easy win at Caulfield in December when it started as $3.50 favourite.
3. Its trainer was Peter G. Moody and jockey for this race was Luke Nolen.
4. The moral from these two Caulfield winners is, "Don't dismiss any lightly raced horse resuming from a spell at good odds trained by the outstanding Peter G. Moody."

It's also worth noting that Peter Moody was the trainer of 7YO gelding Hanks, a $35.50 winner over 2000 metres at Caulfield. This gelding was fourth up from a break from racing of more than one year due to injury, so was certainly getting fitter!

1. First up from a spell this 3YO colt finished fourth, beaten by 2.5 lengths at Randwick.
2. Second up, 14 days later, it finished third, beaten by 1.5 lengths at Warwick Farm.
3. This was its third run in from a spell.
4. This race was 17 days after its second up run, meaning its second up run and third up runs were 4 weeks or less after the previous race.

1. This 6YO gelding had 1 win and 1 third from 4 starts over 1800 metres at Rosehill.
2. It had 3 wins, 3 seconds and 4 thirds at Rosehill.
3. It started from barrier 1.
4. This is yet another Rosehill winner at nice double figure odds that started from barrier 1.
