Rosehill horse racing system and betting tip

Barrier one is a bigger advantage at Rosehill than most other racetracks. Last Saturday there were two winners that started from the barrier - Brimley $9.00 and Run Just Run $12.00.

It's always worth having that extra look at Rosehill barrier one horses. You may be able to work on a horse racing betting system with some logical elimination rules, or use form analysis to eliminate the barrier one pretenders.

There is always the danger that the horse will get boxed in on the rails, but on Saturday the barrier one winners were in fields of 11 and 12 runners. There have also been plenty of placegetters at good odds, ideal for trifectas and first fours.

Brimley was racing in a restricted mares race on Saturday, yet on New Year's Day in a much stronger mares open race went down in a photo to Secret Desire at Flemington.

Run Just Run was resuming from a spell, but did have two wins from five first up starts.

Jockey watch

Sydney based Ronnie Stewart is a very talented apprentice. He booted home two winners last Saturday at Rosehill, Marfickle $6.50 and Run Just Run $12.00.

In Marfickle's race, a field of just six, he had to contend with leading jockeys Darren Beadman on Guardia, $5.00, Corey Brown on Hipwell, $5.00, and Hugh Bowman on Taikun, $3.40.

We've been closely following Ronnie Stewart for some time. He doesn't ride too many bad races. His 1.5kg. claim is a big bonus, unlike some of the apprentices who really need a 10kg. claim!
