That is like being paid 25/1 instead of 35/1 about one number turning up in roulette. Or instead of even money ($2.00) about odds or evens you get paid $1.70. You wouldn't play roulette like that. While we're on this subject the Brisbane bookies are rapidly heading the same way - offering very poor betting market percentages. We'll be reporting on them shortly if they continue to offer the very tight betting odds they put up last Saturday as their Carnival got into swing.
