25/7/2003 edition Adelaide Money Jockey Last week we pointed out how Simon Price rode three horses that firmed significantly at Morphettville. Well, it happened again last Saturday. He was on 4YO mare Jug Full who was first up in a Class 6 over 1200 metres. The mare had won five of her nine starts and connections thought she was good enough to race at Group 2 level during Adelaide's May Carnival earlier this year. Jug Full was set for a first up win by Goolwa trainer Jeremy Gask, who has brought off some good first up wins in the past. In the field of 15 Jug Full firmed signficantly from $6.50 to start at $3.60. Jug Full finished second, beaten by the smallest of margins, a nose, and a few Adelaide bookies breathed a little easier. is just about impossible to get a high enough
strike rate backing short priced tote favourites
and the poor value tote horses to make up for
the big unders on the tote. Short
