Horses who are unlucky can often catch everyone by surprise and win or place at one of their next few starts at bolter's odds. That is just what you want for quinellas, trifectas and first four.

In A Bound - missed the start
Natural Embrace - held up for a short distance after the 200
Cape Crusader - held up rounding the home turn and early in the straight
Kreisler Mirage - held up rounding the home turn and in the straight, inconvenienced at the 75
Domielle - checked at 1400, badly held up in the straight, injured

Moonee Valley:
 Toast Of The Coast - tightened at the jump, wide throughout
Can Lago - reared as the starter released the field, lost three lengths
Badger's Wood - held up early in the straight
My Fraarlein - nearly fell at the first turn
